
To enable us to best meet your requirements, please note the following.......
1. Many of our furniture products are manufactured especially for each customer. During the busy months of June - September production and delivery times tend to be longer than usual. Whatever else you do, please do not dispose of your existing chairs, tables, desks etc until your new ones arrive !
2. ORDER EARLY ! It's helpful to order early to increase the likelihood of receiving your furniture in time. Please give all relevant details eg. sizes, design, colour, fabric, quantity. We will always do our best to help but there are times when it just not possible to supply at short notice. We never quote delivery dates which we know to be false, just to try to get an order. Beware of anyone who "guarantees" a delivery date. With the best will in the world things sometimes wrong, eg. machinery breakdown, staff absence, problems with raw material supply etc.
3. RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER We appreciate that it is not feasible to check every item immediately your order arrives, whether it comes wrapped on a pallet or delivered in boxes via a carrier. However, such are the terms and conditions of carriage imposed (unreasonably in our opinion) by most if not all transport companies, it is important NOT to sign as "received in good condition," or "unexamined." If you do so and sunbsequently discover that goods are damaged then no compensation can be made. In all circumstances the delivery note given to be signed should be signed "damaged," whatever condition the pallet / cartons appear to be in. Then, within the next 12 hours the goods should be carefully checked. If, as is usually the case, everything is OK, then no further action is needed. If however you discover any damages then you should advise us by e mail or fax immediately and take some photos of the damaged products and email these to us. This will help in obtaining appropriate compensation from the carriers.
